Images will be viewed on a variety of devices and will be automatically resized to fit. 

• The pixel dimensions should be up to 1,550 pixels in width, and up to 960 pixels in height.

Images shorter in both dimensions will be lower resolution. Larger files will be reduced and load slower. 

• sRGB is recommended for uniformity, as the displayed color spaces may vary.

• The standard file format is jpeg.

File size with these parameters will be less than 2 mb.

You should also consider changing your file names to "Titles" for your images. You can also add "Captions" to explain your images, "Copyright information" and even "Tags" to help search engines locate your images.
